Woman Files False Report: Elmhurst Cops

ELMHURST, IL – A Franklin Park woman was arrested on a charge of filing a false report after reporting that she saw a man with a gun, Elmhurst police said.

Claudia D. Villanueva, 34, was released on bond after she was arrested.

Police responded to a road rage incident about 3:30 p.m. Thursday at North Avenue and Oak Street, according to a report.

Villanueva told officers that a man got out of his car and pointed a gun at her, but the police determined a gun was never seen, the report said.
