Woman Punches Someone At Elmhurst University: Cops
In other cases, Elmhurst arrested two people in separate domestic disturbances, police said.

ELMHURST, IL – In recent days, Elmhurst police arrested people on charges of battery, domestic battery, DUIs, possession of a stolen car and possession of drugs. Here is information from the reports:
Battery
- Nayirah Harris, 30, of Country Club Hills, was arrested about 10 p.m. Sunday at Elmhurst University, 190 S. Prospect Ave., on a charge of battery. According to a police report, officers responded to a fight in progress, in which Harris punched someone else. She was released on bond.
Domestic battery

- Richard C. George, 73, of Franklin Park, was arrested about 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the medical office building at 133 E. Brush Hill Road on a charge of domestic battery. According to a police report, George grabbed someone during an argument. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
- Dawn Kane, 54, of Lombard, was arrested about 8:30 p.m. Saturday in the 700 block of Junior Terrace on a charge of domestic battery. Police said Kane struck someone during an argument. She was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
Stolen car
- Kyle Hill, 29, of Chicago, was arrested about 10 p.m. Saturday at Lake and Walnut streets on a DuPage County Sheriff's Office warrant and charges of possession of a stolen vehicle, obstructing identification, driving with a suspended license, driving an uninsured vehicle and having only one tail light. He was driving a car stolen in Oak Lawn. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
DUI

- Britney Lee Ann Culp, 28, of Lombard, was arrested shortly before 8 p.m. Friday at St. Charles Road and Route 83 on charges of DUI and driving a car while using a phone. She was released on bond.
- Maijia Lewis, 23, of Lansing, was arrested about 3:30 a.m. Saturday at Route 83 and Riverside Drive on charges of DUI and improper lane usage. She was released on bond.
- Ronnie Henderson, 46, of Chicago, was arrested about 2 a.m. Saturday at Walnut and Lake streets on charges of DUI (drugs), obstructing justice, resisting a police officer and driving an uninsured vehicle. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
- Calvin Hughes, 63, of Hanover Park, was arrested shortly after midnight Sunday at Route 83 and Interstate 290 on charges of DUI, illegal transportation of open alcohol and improper lane usage. He was released on bond.
Drug possession
- Griffin S. Greeley, 33, and Shelby N. Housman, 28, both of Roselle, were arrested about 2:30 a.m. Saturday in the 300 block of North Route 83 on charges of unlawful possession of a controlled substance. Housman faces the additional charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. They were taken to the DuPage County Jail.
