Woman Shoplifts At 4 Elmhurst Stores: Cops

In another case, a woman was found sitting in a resident's car, police said.

ELMHURST, IL – In recent days, Elmhurst police arrested people on charges of retail theft, trespassing, leaving the scene of crashes, DUI and obstructing justice. Here is information from police reports:

Retail theft

  • Marie Angela Pinski, 43, of Addison, was cited about 1:30 p.m. Thursday at La Jolie MLN Boutique, 263 N. York St., on a charge of retail theft. She was accused of stealing merchandise from four businesses. She was released on bond and served with four no-trespass notices.

  • Isabel A. Pacheco, 34, of Chicago, was arrested about 12:30 a.m. Friday in the 200 block of North West Avenue on a charge of criminal trespass to a motor vehicle. Police said Pacheco sat in a resident's unlocked car parked in front of a house. She was released on bond.

Leaving the scene of a crash

  • Brandon Rudolph-Kimble, 35, of Schaumburg, was cited about 5:30 p.m. Friday at St. Charles Road and Cottage Hill Avenue on charges of leaving the scene of a property damage accident, failing to reduce speed to avoid an accident, driving with a suspended license and driving an uninsured vehicle. He was released on bond.
  • Lakayla D. Day, 18, of Hillside, was cited about 6:30 p.m. Sunday at Butterfield Road and Prospect Avenue on charges of leaving the scene of an accident and failing to reduce speed to avoid an accident. She was released on bond.

DUI

  • Robert Molina, 36, of Addison, was arrested about 1 a.m. Saturday at Route 83 and Riverside Drive on charges of DUI, improper lane usage and speeding. He was released on bond.

Obstructing justice

  • Ashley Mendoza, 29, of River Grove, was arrested about 4:30 a.m. Saturday at York and Third streets on charges of obstructing justice, DUI, unlawful possession of marijuana by a driver, failure to yield to emergency vehicles, possession of open alcohol by a driver, improper lane usage and driving an uninsured vehicle. She was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
