Woman Wields Knife At Elmhurst University: Police

ELMHURST, IL – A woman is accused of threatening a man with a kitchen knife and slashing his car's tire last week at Elmhurst University, police said.

Leslie J. Loza Martinez, 19, of Chicago, was arrested on charges of criminal damage to property (two counts), aggravated assault, possession of alcohol by a minor and possession of marijuana.

The incident occurred about 9:30 p.m. Thursday, police said.

Martinez was released on bond and given a no-trespass notice.
