Bensenville, Ill.— People of all ages and abilities are invited to the Wood Street Fitness “spooktacular” Halloween Zumba® class from 7:15 to 8:15 p.m. Thursday, October 26, at the Deer Grove Leisure Center Gymnasium, 1000 W. Wood Street, Bensenville.

Costumes are strongly encouraged to make the event fitness party like no other. There will be prizes for the top three costumes and lots of Halloween props for pictures. Instructors will team up to provide the ultimate Halloween dance party for all fitness levels, with modifications for active adults, seniors and children.

“Everyone is welcome to join in this great workout and have a blast from start to finish,” Acevedo adds. “Last year was so much fun, and this year promises to be even better!”

Acevedo says participants can burn as many as 800 calories during the workout and advises to bring water and dress in a fun, comfortable Halloween costume.

The special event is not included among the fitness center’s Core Class Pass offerings, but don’t be spooked by the fee: it’s just $8 with a $2 discount ($6) for those living within Bensenville Park District boundaries. Payment is to be made upon arrival.
