Wood Street Fitness Zumba® Surf N’Turf takes place Aug. 9

Bensenville, Ill.— Join in an exhilarating summer outdoor Zumba® and Aqua Zumba® pool party with Zumba® Surf N’Turf, scheduled 6-6:45 p.m. Wednesday, August 9, at the Bensenville Water Park, 1100 W. Wood Street in Bensenville.

Dance, splash and groove the way to fitness as Zumba instructors Tony and Traci lead the party on the pool deck and in the pool simultaneously. The Aqua Zumba® and Zumba® sessions will take place facing each other, giving participants the option to “surf” or “turf” and choose the one that suits their fancy.

No prior experience is required for either Zumba® or Aqua Zumba®, making it the perfect opportunity for everyone, from beginners to seasoned dancers, to join in the fun. The Aqua Zumba® session will take place in the pool, which has a depth between 4 and 5 feet, so participants do not need to know how to swim to enjoy the invigorating workout.

“This Aqua Zumba® and Zumba® Pool Party promises to be a fantastic evening of fitness and fun,” says Fitness Supervisor Silvia Acevedo. “It's a wonderful chance for the community to come together, get active and experience the joy of dancing in and out of the water.”

The event is open to the public with a fee of $8, $6 for those living in district boundaries, and it is free for those with a Bensenville Water Park membership or Wood Street Fitness Core Class Pass.
