Worker Steals From Elmhurst Business: Cops
The employee admitted to the thefts, police report says.
ELMHURST, IL — An employee of the Delta Sonic convenience store in Elmhurst was discovered to be stealing lottery tickets during the shifts he worked at the register, police said.
Arturo Arevalo, 20, of Bellwood, was arrested about 10 a.m. Friday on a charge of theft. He was released on bond.
Police said Arevalo admitted to stealing the tickets.
