York Community High School Grads Launch Alumni Association

The first York Community High School Alumni Association Board of Directors has been elected.

ELMHURST, IL — The first York Community High School Alumni Association Board of Directors has been elected. Serving two-year terms are Jay Webb (’75), President; Kathy Wilson (‘65), Vice President; Trish Harper (’62), Membership; Linda Boeske Aldis (‘74), Treasurer; and Debbie Linhart (’67), Secretary. Committee Chairs are: Mark Mulliner (’76), Community Outreach; Kurt Fowich (’63), Senior Alumni Outreach; Sharon O’Brien (’76), York Centennial Celebration; and Kristen Yasz (’05), Social Events.

According to the association, the group came together on the heels of the successful York Distinguished Alumni Program, now in its fifth year, and the forthcoming 100th Anniversary of York Community High School. The Board and committee members represent classes ranging from 1958 to 2005.

YCHSAA is free to join and open to all those who attended York. Benefits include being able to participate in Association events and receiving a twice-yearly electronic newsletter featuring alumni activities and current York High School updates.
