2 Hit by Car on Howard Street in Evanston
Police say they've found a Chevrolet sedan matching the description of the hit-and-run car from the 9 a.m. incident that hospitalized one.
EVANSTON, IL - A car traveling eastbound on Howard Street Wednesday hit two people and sped away.
The two were hit just after 9 a.m. near the intersection of Howard and Custer Avenue, according to an Evanston Now report. The location is at the southern edge of Evanston where it borders with Chicago's Damen Avenue.
One of the pedestrians struck was hospitalized at Presence Saint Francis and the other refused medical treatment, the Evanston Now report states.

Police began searching the area for the offending vehicle, a model Chevrolet sedan, immediately and reported they found one matching the description unoccupied at 9:50 a.m. in the 600 block of Mulford Avenue.
