2 Juveniles Charged in Overnight Burglary
Police had matched items on their person to those reported stolen after arresting the 15-year-olds for a curfew violation.

Two juvenile boys who were taken to the police department for curfew violations early Wednesday morning are now charged with burglary after police in Evanston matched items on their possession to ones that were reported stolen from a car parked at a home on Crain Street.
According to police, an officer on routine patrol stopped the two, both 15-years-old, one of Evanston and one of Chicago, as they were riding bicycles at 4 a.m. in the 800 block of Dodge Avenue on August 5 and found them to be in possession of a garage door opener and small television monitor.
After they were transported to the police station, a resident called police at 7:45 a.m. and reported someone had entered her unlocked vehicle in the 1500 block of Crain Street and used the garage door opener to open the garage, where they stole two bicycles and the garage door opener.
