2015 Summer Camp Guide Now Available Online

Registration for summer programs begins January 27.

Interested in reviewing summer camp options with your children over winter break? The City of Evanston’s 2015 Summer Camp Guide is now posted online at cityofevanston.org/summercamps.

Registration will begin with a lottery open from Tuesday, January 27 through Tuesday, February 3 for Evanston residents only (ZIP codes 60201 and 60202). This process will be easier and faster for parents while it fairly allocates slots in camps which have high demand.

Youth camps include tennis, sports, arts, ecology, preschool, hockey, basketball, figure skating, fencing, beach volleyball, aquatic, general day camp, LEGO camp and more. Older children and teens may register for arts camp and several counselor in training/leadership programs. Adults can even sign up for their own version of Aquatic Camp.

On Wednesday, December 31, printed guides will be available at the Lorraine H. Morton Civic Center, 2100 Ridge Ave.; Robert Crown Center, 1701 Main St.; Chandler-Newberger Center, 1028 Central St.; Ecology Center, 2024 McCormick Blvd.; Fleetwood-Jourdain Center, 1655 Foster St.; and Noyes Cultural Arts Center, 927 Noyes St.

Community members are encouraged to confirm the availability of the summer camp guides by calling/texting 847-448-4311. For convenience, Evanston residents can simply dial 3-1-1.

Camp guides will be distributed to Evanston public and private elementary schools the week of January 5, 2015. Please note: Some schools do not distribute printed material to every student.
