3 Robbed on Howard Street

Four offenders in an SUV made off with a woman's cell phone Monday night.

Three people were victims of a strong arm robbery Monday night on Howard Street. One victim, an Evanston woman had her cell phone stolen in the incident.

Four offenders in an SUV approached the victims, who were walking home to Evanston from Chicago, in an alley in the 1100 block of Howard Street shortly after 7 p.m., according to the Evanston Review.

The Evanston woman who had her cell phone stolen had dropped it, and it was picked up by one of the offenders. She and one of the male victims, a Chicago man, suffered injuries to the head and face and were treated at the scene. A third victim refused treatment.
