6 Charged in Evanston Marijuana Bust
Law enforcement conducted a long-term undercover sting that resulted in "calculated cannabis conspiracy" charges.

EVANSTON, IL - Six people, including one Evanston man, have been charged with “calculated cannabis conspiracy” by the Evanston Police Department after a long-term operation focused on marijuana dealing in the city was completed by the police departments in Evanston and Chicago as well as the Cook County Sheriff’s Office.
The operation involved police officers making undercover drug buys in both Evanston and Chicago last month, according to an Evanston Review report.
Arrested in the operation were Andrew Kung, 27, Chicago; Joshua Rizo, 29, of the 900 block of Judson Avenue in Evanston; Michael D. Singleton, 32, Chicago; Carlisle L. Green, 33, Chicago and Allen D. Norwood, 27, Chicago.

Norwood was also charged with cannabis manufacture/delivery of 30 grams or less.
