7th Ward Meeting Planned to Discuss Alderman Options
Mayor Elizabeth Tisdahl will ask residents about qualities they'd like to see in Jane Grover's replacement.
EVANSTON, IL - A community meeting for Seventh Ward residents to discuss filling the vacant alderman position has been called by Mayor Elizabeth Tisdahl for 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 12 at the Morton Civic Center’s Parasol Room.
Tisdahl will ask residents about the qualities they would like to see in the new Alderman. Current Ald. Jane Grover is leaving at the end of the year to pursue a full-time opportunity with the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning.
Grover’s term continues until 2017. Tisdahl with appoint her replacement.
