Ambulance Fees Increase in Evanston

Increases in basic life support service and transportation costs will begin next month.

Beginning on October 1, residents will be charged an additional $150 if they require ambulance services, according to the Daily Northwestern.

Basic life support services will now come at a cost of $512, increased from $362. There will also be an increase in the transport cost, from $7 a mile to $10.
