Attempted Murder Charge for Man Accused of Beating Relative with Baseball Bat
The Lincolnwood resident has been accused of using the wooden bat to inflict multiple injuries on a relative.

LINCOLNWOOD, IL - A Lincolnwood man who allegedly beat a family member with a baseball bat will face an attempted murder charge.
58-year-old Kurt Fetman also faces charges of aggravated domestic battery and aggravated battery from an incident early Monday around 1 a.m. in which a man was found with multiple head injuries caused by a wooden baseball bat, according to the Chicago Tribune.

The victim, a relative of Fetman’s, was treated for his injuries at Presence Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston and has been released. There were no other injuries reported in the incident.
As of Thursday, Fetman has yet to post bond, which was set at $600,000 by Cook County Circuit Clerk Judge Marcia Orr.
