Child Hit by Car in Evanston Friday
Police and fire units responded to the incident around 4:15 p.m. at McCormick and Prairie. McCormick Boulevard remains closed for traffic.

EVANSTON, IL - A child was hit by a car in Evanston Friday afternoon.
McCormick Boulevard was blocked off at 4:15 p.m. after the accident, according to an Evanston Now report. The child was reportedly conscious after the accident, but the extend of the injuries is unknown.
Evanston police tweeted at 4:45 p.m. that they have responded to the area to investigate a traffic crash. Fire units and at least one ambulance is also on scene.
