Dead Body Found on Lakeshore in Evanston

EVANSTON, IL - A deceased man’s body was found shortly after 1 p.m. Friday along the Lake Michigan shoreline in the 300 block of Sheridan Road.

The body was found by detectives from the Chicago Police Department, who were searching for a missing suicidal man from Chicago. Clothing and personal items belonging to the missing person from Chicago was also located on the shoreline.

A death investigation is being conducted by police in Evanston, who have stated there are no signs of foul play in the case. The man’s identity has not been released pending the notification of his closest relative.
