Dead Body Found on Side of Golf Road
A woman was pronounced dead Tuesday morning near Harms Road in an apparent hit-and-run.
A woman’s body was found off the side of Golf Road near Harms Road early Tuesday morning in what now is being considered a hit-and-run crash.
The woman, whose age and identity wasn’t immediately available, was found at 6:25 a.m. and pronounced dead at the scene when Cook County Sheriff’s Office officials arrived, according to the Chicago Tribune. She was found by someone in the area, who alerted police.
No circumstances have been released on the apparent crash, which occurred in an unincorporated area of Cook County near the villages of Morton Grove and Golf.

Morton Grove police provided traffic control on Golf Road, which remained closed for a number of hours after the find.
