District 65 Leader to Leave for North Chicago Post
Assistant superintendent John Price has accepted the top job in North Chicago Unit School District 187.

EVANSTON, IL - John Price, the assistant superintendent for the Evanston Skokie School District 65, will leave at the end of the year to take over the top administrative post at the North Chicago Unit School District 187.
Price was approved by the North Chicago school board as its next superintendent unanimously last week, according to a report from the Lake County News-Sun. Price will replace Ben Martindale, who has held the CEO role in District 187 for the last five years.
Price has been assistant superintendent in District 65 for the last two school years, coming to the district from Chicago Public Schools. With CPS, he worked as both a principal and assistant principal at Audubon Elementary School and was also the district’s network chief.
