District 65 Teachers Could Strike This Month
Public posting from union indicates potential strike before end of November.
EVANSTON, IL - Evanston/Skokie School District 65 teachers could strike before the end of the month.
The local teachers union, the District Educators’ Council, recently instituted a “public posting” action that could result in a strike that would begin in November, according to an Evanston Now report.
District officials informed the community of the possibility in a letter, including the phrase: “the threat of a strike becomes more likely.”
