Starting this Monday, the Stained Glass begins a new promotion to promote culture in the Evanston. It's new Autumn Special encourages area-residents to enjoy a complimentary dinner before an evening show or after a matinee at one of Northwestern University’s ticketed events.
“We are an artistic family at The Stained Glass and like to do what we can to promote the performing arts,” states the restaurant’s owner Victoria Fonseca. “Many of our servers are classically-trained musicians who play the trombone, French horn, violin and trumpet while other members of the staff are pursuing acting careers. Even our Wine Director Al Cirillo used to teach Shakespeare Studies at the University so obviously we encourage people to take advantage of the National Theatre Live broadcasts of Othello and MacBeth as well as the concerts and plays on Northwestern’s Evanston campus.”
In addition to the National Theatre Live broadcast series, this offer is valid with tickets to Theatre and Interpretation Center (TIC) performances as well as concerts at Lutkin Hall and Pick-Staiger Concert Hall from now until December 12, 2013.
