J.A. Adande will head the new sports journalism program at Medill.
EVANSTON, IL - Sports journalist J.A. Adande, a longtime fixture on ESPN's "Around the Horn" and at NBA games as a sideline reporter, will join Northwestern University's faculty in the fall as director of the Medill School of Journalism's new sports journalism program, the school announced earlier this week.
Adande is a 1992 Medill grad, having served as the sports editor for The Daily Northwestern before stops at the Los Angeles Times, Washington Post and Chicago Sun-Times before ESPN.
He calls enrolling at Medill "the best decision" of his life.
