ETHS Senior To Play Final Concert Before College
Distinguished percussionist Joe Bricker will soon head to the Juilliard School in New York City.

Joe Bricker, a senior at Evanston Township High School, has already racked up quite an impressive list of accomplishments when it comes to percussion. In May, he will perform his final recital as an ETHS student before he attends the Juilliard School in New York City this fall.
Bricker, currently co-principal percussionist of the Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestra and Midwest Young Artists Symphony Orchestra, will include guest players Henry Peters (junior, Evanston Township High School) and Karen Dai (senior, Chicago Symphony Orchestra Percussion Scholarship Group) as part of the recital scheduled for 7 p.m. on May 8 at Curtis Hall, 410 S. Michigan in Chicago.
Studying under Patricia Dash at the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Bricker has earned many distinguished honors - including being named the 2013 Fine Arts Scholar in Percussion, and the 2014 Emerson Scholar in Percussion, earning six weeks of free tuition for intensive orchestral study at Interlochen Center for the Arts.
