Evanston To Host Public Meetings On City Manager Recruitment
In addition to a pair of meetings, city officials are planning focus groups with local stakeholders to solicit community input.

EVANSTON, IL - The City of Evanston has announced two upcoming public meetings to solicit community input on the search for Evanston’s next city manager.
Meetings will be held in the Jay C. Lytle City Council Chambers in the Morton Civic Center, 2100 Ridge Ave., on the following dates:

- Thursday, March 19, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Thursday, March 26, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Spanish translation will be available at the meeting on March 26. All interested community members are encouraged to attend either of the meetings to learn about the search process and timeline, and to provide input. GovHR USA, the City’s consultant for the search, will incorporate feedback received at the meetings to assist with candidate recruitment during its nationwide search.

In addition to the community meetings, the City will also host several focus groups with representatives of faith organizations, businesses, community organizations and other stakeholders to gather additional feedback.
