Still With Us: Summer 2026 Grief Circle Series Begins on the North Shore

A small, four-session gathering exploring grief, continuing bonds, and spiritual connection after loss.

Grief doesn’t always move in the ways people expect.

For some, traditional grief support groups provide comfort and structure. But for others, those spaces can feel incomplete — particularly when grief is intertwined with a quiet sense that connection to a loved one may still be present.

Some people notice subtle experiences after loss: a vivid dream, a familiar presence, a meaningful coincidence. Others simply carry a feeling they can’t quite explain — that the relationship hasn’t ended, but changed.

These experiences are not always easy to speak about. In many settings, they may remain unacknowledged, even when they feel deeply significant.

Still With Us: Navigating Loss with Intuition and Spirit was created with this in mind.

The four-session, in-person Summer 2026 series offers a gentle, reflective space where grief and the possibility of continuing connection can be explored together. It is not therapy, but a contemplative gathering grounded in meditation, quiet reflection, and shared presence.

Participants are invited — not required — to explore ideas drawn from near-death experiences and spiritual traditions, as well as the concept of continuing bonds: the understanding that relationships with loved ones may evolve rather than end.

The circle is intentionally small, with 6–8 participants, creating an environment of safety, listening, and mutual respect.

The upcoming series will be held at the Winnetka Community House on Thursday evenings from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM on June 25, July 9, July 16, and July 23.

For this current offering, sliding-scale pricing and a limited number of partial scholarships are available to support accessibility.

For those who have felt that their experience of grief doesn’t fully fit within traditional frameworks, this offering provides a different kind of space — one that allows for both sorrow and the possibility of continued connection.
