Evanston Man Charged With Abusing Toddler Son
Domarius Walker allegedly hit child in the head with bricks and whipped him with a belt.

An Evanston man is accused of physically abusing his toddler son, leaving him with broken bones, a skull fracture and other injuries.
Domarius T. Walker, 23, of the 1800 block of Darrow Avenue is charged with aggravated battery to a child after he allegedly hit the 17-month-old child in the head with bricks, whipped him with a belt, stomped on his foot, dropped a speaker on his hand and threw other objects at him at a home on the south side of Chicago on May 16 while the child’s mother was at work, according to the Chicago Tribune. He was arrested Sunday and is being held without bond.
The child was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center for his injuries and had to be intubated after suffering seizures at the hospital. His condition has stabilized.
