Evanston Police Arrest Federal Narcotics Suspect
Bags of white powder found tucked inside a stuffed animal didn't test positive for any narcotics.

EVANSTON, IL - Evanston police arrested a man wanted on a federal narcotics warrant Tuesday night on Howard Street.
Officers on routine deployment in the 1300 block of the street that divides Chicago and Evanston at 10:39 p.m. stopped a car driven by Alexandria D. Barnett, 32, Chicago and found her to be driving on a suspended license.
A passenger in the car, Corey D. Eaton, 34, of Hattiesburg, Miss. initially provided a false name to police, but soon after it was determined he was wanted for an active federal narcotics warrant and was turned over to the United States Marshals Office.

During a search of the car, police found two bags full of a white powder suspected to be narcotics inside of a stuffed animal. The substance did not test positive for any known narcotics, but will be sent to the crime lab for further analysis.
