An argument among family members involving building maintenance preceded Wednesday's shooting, police believe.

The Cook County state's attorney's office approved a single count of aggravated battery. A spokesperson for the office said no further information about what prosecutors expect the evidence to show was available.
Following a bond hearing, Perrin was released on her own recognizance ahead of her next scheduled court appearance on Jan. 23, according to police.
