Fleetwood-Jourdain Theatre To Present Annual Bruncheon In Evanston On Women History Month

In honor of Women's History Month, Fleetwood-Jourdain Theatre will present its annual bruncheon on Sunday, March 15, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

In honor of Women's History Month, Fleetwood-Jourdain Theatre will present its annual bruncheon on Sunday, March 15, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. The bruncheon will be held at the Levy Senior Center, 300 Dodge Ave.

This event will feature special guest speaker Regina Taylor, award-winning actress, director, and playwright. Regina has received a Golden Globe Award for Best Performance by an Actress in "I'll Fly Away,” three NAACP Image Awards and two Emmy Award nominations. She has also written numerous critically-acclaimed plays, including the smash hit gospel musical Crowns.

At the event, Evanstonian Cheryl Y. Judice will speak with Regina about her impressive body of work and her incredible career journey. Guests will also enjoy a brunch buffet prepared by nationally-renowned Chef Q, chilled champagne mimosas, desserts and a live musical performance by Mardra & Reggie Thomas from the Legends of R&B Concert.
