Free CPR Training in Evanston Sunday

Informative classes are planned at several locations throughout the city.

EVANSTON, IL - Residents of Evanston are urged to attend free CPR training and classes at several city locations on Sunday.

Volunteers are more than a dozen sites will offer the sessions throughout the day on Feb. 14. Locations for the sessions include Grace Lutheran Church, Northwestern University - Norris Center, Presence Saint Francis Hospital and others.

According to a city news release, attendees will learn how to recognize the signs of a heart attack, know when to call 911, learn how to perform hands-only CPR and learn how to properly use an Automated External Defibrillator.
