Free Rides To Six Flags Summer Jobs For Evanston Teens
Evanston is offering free round-trip busing to a Six Flags Great America job fair for students Wednesday.

EVANSTON, IL — The City of Evanston is offering free transportation Wednesday and all summer long for local students who land jobs at an amusement park.
Evanston students ages 16 and up have the opportunity to be hired on the spot if they have a successful interview at at Six Flags Great America May 31.
And for all students hired by the park, the City will provide a ride to and from work in Gurnee starting on Monday, June 12.

In order to take advantage of the free rides, applicants must do the following:
- Apply to Six Flags online
- Notify the City of Evanston online or by calling 3-1-1.
- Arrive at the Gibbs-Morrison Cultural Center, 1823 Church St., by 3:50 p.m. for a 4 p.m. departure on Wednesday, May 31.
- Remain at the hiring event until all participant interviews are completed. (The bus is expected to return to the Gibbs-Morrison Cultural Center by 8 p.m.)
