Jailed Man's DNA Found At Scene Of Evanston Burglary: Police
Evidence found at the scene of a burglary to an Evanston senior home care business was linked to the DNA of a Rogers Park man.

EVANSTON, IL — Police said DNA evidence linked a jailed man to the burglary of a senior home care business in Evanston earlier this year. On March 3, a burglary was reported at Visiting Angels Living Assistance Services at 518 Davis St. Police said a credit card, a television, a mirror and a cord for an e-book reader was stolen at the time.
Brian W. Rowlett, 43, of the 1400 block of West Estes Avenue in Chicago, was charged with one count of commercial burglary on June 28, police said, after evidence found at the scene and sent to the crime lab showed his DNA at the scene of the burglary.
Police said was "no legal reason" for his DNA to be at the scene, and prosecutors agreed.
