Missing Northwestern University Student Found: Police

Police said Saturday a student that reported missing Tuesday was found in Chicago "safe and in good condition."

EVANSTON, IL — Police said Saturday a Northwestern University student reported missing amid dangerously cold weather earlier in the week has been found safely.

Gabriel Corona, 24, had last been seen by his roommate Tuesday morning and reported missing that night. His last known location was a downtown Chicago CTA station at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, police said Friday.

Corona was not a victim of a crime, police said. His family has been notified, and appropriate care is being provided. Evanston police said the department was relieved Corona was found safely in light of the week's extreme cold weather.
