Parking Bans Enacted in Evanston and Skokie Today and Tomorrow
Find out when and where you'll have to move your car while the snow is cleared in Skokie and Evanston.

In Skokie, alternate side parking will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. today and Monday. According to the Skokie Police Department, all vehicles are required to park on the side of the street with odd-numbered addresses today and on the side of the street with even-numbered addresses on Monday.
In Evanston, parking will be banned on main thoroughfares designated as snow routes from 11 p.m. Sunday night until 6 a.m. Monday morning. Members of the community are requested to park according to all snow route parking signs as well.
The city of Evanston will enact its emergency sirens (much like it did when the Chicago Cubs won the World Series last month) at 8:15 p.m. to remind residents to move their cars if needed.
