Person Hit by Car in Evanston Sunday Night
A 62-year-old man was reportedly in a crosswalk downtown when he was hit by a Nissan Altima.

EVANSTON, IL - A 62-year-old Evanston man was severely injured Sunday night after he was hit by a car in downtown Evanston.
The pedestrian was struck by a Nissan Altima that was turning from Elgin Road onto Benson Avenue around 7 p.m., according to an Evanston Now report. He was reportedly in the crosswalk when the driver of the Nissan - a 40-year-old Chicago man - had a green light.
The man was hit by the car's front bumper, hood and windshield. He is now in stable condition at Evanston Hospital.
