Sixth grade art students at the School of Saints Faith, Hope and Charity learn firsthand about Visual Marketing

School of Faith, Hope and Charity in Winnetka partner with Maya Papaya Tony Macarony to learn about visual marketing

The 6th Grade art students at the School of Saints Faith, Hope and Charity in Winnetka have been working on a unique project this trimester. They partnered with Maya Papaya Tony Macarony, a children's clothing boutique in Evanston, at the corner of Green Bay Road and Central to design the store windows. They created concepts based upon the needs of the store, formulated budgets, drew up their designs, and built the props and "sets" working in teams of four. This project, like an internship, came complete with deadlines and a working budget. The windows were installed by the store owners and Joanne Bennett, the FHC art teacher.
