Teen Accused of Pointing Gun at Woman

A Glock 9mm handgun was recovered from a 16-year-old Evanston boy accused of pointing the weapon at a 32-year-old woman he knew as an acquaintance on Sunday.

The boy is charged with one count of aggravated assault and one count of unlawful possession of a firearm, the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Police were called about 4:10 p.m. on Sunday for a report of a boy pointing a gun at the woman near Emerson Street and Brown Avenue then running away. He was found later in the 1900 block of Emerson.
