Temporary Traffic Control Plan for Greenwood St. Begins March 4

On Wednesday, March 4, ComEd will begin construction to make necessary system improvements on Greenwood St. between Maple and Elmwood Avenues. Work will be completed from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, until Thursday, March 12. 

Crews will be working to replace the mainline cable between two underground manholes along Greenwood St. To create a safe work zone, parking will be prohibited and modified traffic patterns will be established while work is completed. Please note that normal parking and traffic patterns will be permitted when crews are not present.

Additionally, commuters are asked to use extreme caution during work hours. There will be signage in the area to assist vehicles and pedestrians through the work zone.
