Temporary Traffic Control Plan on Maple Avenue Begins Feb. 23
ComEd crews will be fixing mainline cable on Maple Ave. until March 3.

On Monday, February 23, ComEd will begin construction to make necessary system improvements on Maple Ave. between Hamlin and Emerson Streets. Work will be completed from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, until Tuesday, March 3.
Crews will be working to replace the mainline cable between three underground manholes along Maple Ave. To create a safe work zone, parking will be prohibited and modified traffic patterns will be established while work is completed. Please note that normal parking and traffic patterns will be permitted when crews are not present.

Additionally, commuters are asked to use extreme caution during work hours. There will be signage in the area to assist vehicles and pedestrians through the work zone.
