Temporary Traffic Control Plan at Oakton St. and Sherman Ave. Scheduled Until May 1

On Monday, April 27, ComEd contractors began excavation work at the intersection of Oakton St. and Sherman Ave. Construction is scheduled to be completed on Friday, May 1.

Construction at the intersection will cause lane closures along Oakton St. between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. throughout the week. Flaggers will be present to direct traffic.

Additionally, parking by the intersection will NOT be permitted during work hours. Community members may only park in the area after 5 p.m. and before 7 a.m. the following day, until construction is completed.
