Trump Sign Burned in Evanston Man's Front Yard

Previous signs have been replaced with Hillary Clinton and Black Lives Matter signs, the man said.

EVANSTON, IL - A Donald Trump for President political sign in an Evanston man’s front yard was burned to the ground recently, sparking a criminal damage to property investigation by the Evanston Police Department.

Brian Lowry said he’s put up multiple Trump signs in his yard this political season and has seen every last one of them vandalized, according to a report in the Evanston Review.

The first five signs Lowry bought were stolen, but then he wired the sixth to a tree. Still, the vandals stomped on it, cut it in half and put up other signs supporting Hillary Clinton and the Black Lives Matter movement.

The seventh, according to Lowry, was stomped to the ground and burned, melting the grass around it and leaving a brown patch in the yard.

“That is arson,” said Lowry, who has already put up a new sign and says he will not give in to the pressure.
