'Warm Bevvy' Walk Planned for Thursday in Downtown Evanston

Free beverages available for local shoppers in three Evanston business districts.

Downtown Evanston will welcome community members to shop and sip their way throughout the city during a free “Warm Bevvy Walk” on Thursday, Dec. 10, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Shoppers can enjoy a variety of spiced and spiked warm beverages, including hot chocolate, mulled wine and hot cider at businesses in downtown Evanston and on Main and Dempster Streets along Chicago Avenue.

The event is free and open to all ages. Participants are asked to register online and check in at one of the locations below to pick up a map of participating businesses, a complimentary #ShopEvanston mug, and a wristband for those who wish to sample spiked beverages. Participants must be 21 years or older and present a valid ID in order to receive a wristband. Check-in locations are:
