Wildkits Whip Lake View For 4th Straight Win

13 Different Players Score For Winners In Rout

Evanston eased to its 4th straight basketball win Tuesday night at Beardsley Gym, scoring a 66-30 running-clock victory over Chicago Lake View.

The Wildkits, now 15-6 overall, built a 36-12 halftime lead and never looked back. Lake View didn’t score a field goal in the final quarter.

A total of 13 players scored for the winners, led by Malachi Barrett with 14 points and Isaiah Moore with 10. Rey Catuy contributed 6 points and 5 steals off the bench and sophomore Antoine Thomas, promoted to the varsity last week, scored his first 3 varsity points.

The Wildkits play at Glenbrook North on Friday and will take on Lake Forest at the 10th annual War On The Shore Saturday at Loyola Academy.
