Woman Hit By Car in Evanston
An 89-year-old man was cited after swerving off the road and hitting the woman, and a city light pole, on Church Street.

EVANSTON, IL - A woman was struck by a car Wednesday afternoon in Evanston.
The 59-year-old Morton Grove woman was taken to Evanston Hospital with a non life-threatening facial injury after she was hit by the swerving car near Church Street and Chicago Avenue around 1:30 p.m., according to the Chicago Sun-Times.
The driver, an 89-year-old Evanston man, was eastbound on Church when he swerved to avoid another vehicle and went onto the curb, hitting the woman and a city light pole.
