Arrest Warrants Issued for Men Accused in Christmas Eve Armed Robbery

Woman asked one of the men to pick her up at Chicago Ridge Mall, when his friend in the back seat held her up at gunpoint, cops said.

CHICAGO RIDGE, IL -- Arrest warrants were issued for two men accused of robbing a female acquaintance at gunpoint on Christmas Eve in Chicago Ridge.

According to Chicago Ridge police, the woman called Travis Richardson, 18, on Dec. 24, 2016 and asked for a ride home from Sears at the Chicago Ridge Mall.

When Richardson drove up, another man, Joshua Mason, who turned 20 the night of the alleged robbery, was in the back seat. The woman got into the car when Mason is alleged to have held her up at gunpoint.

The detective told the judge that he’s spoken to Richardson on the phone, who has been “totally uncooperative.” Mason is nowhere to be found.

The judge issued a $500,000 arrest warrant for Mason; Richardson was issued a $250,000 warrant.

Mason’s last known address is in South Holland, IN. Richardson is from Country Club Hills.
