B2B Consumers Want Real E-commerce Experience
The global B2B buyers are extensively looking to get e-commerce features in order to make the B2B platform more attractive and user friendly

The global B2B suppliers widespread have changed their stance now by multiplying the e-commerce marketplaces and the entire supplying capacity to cater potential Business to Business (B2B) buyers in the best possible manner, extracted the online report; “Building The B2B Omni-Channel Commerce Platform of the Future,” prepared by popular research company “Forrester Consulting.”
The report indicated that, 52 percent of the buyer respondents believe that minimum half of their purchases should be made online within three year timeframe.
The report also revealed that the consumer online shopping patterns also have an impact over B2B buying. Almost 49% of the business buyers use such e-commerce sites for professional dealing which they usually taken into account for personal buying.
Moreover, 83 percent of the business suppliers are under the process of implementing updated mechanisms in their business modules or looking for the same, during the next six months.

The majority of the business buyers said they would prefer the same supplier whose portal is user-friendly, while this may lead the seller towards peak by giving ease and quality in the purchasing experience via their e-commerce platforms for customer retention rates.
When the survey took place, the in-take of business buyers over the features and tools, that the supplier must have to focus on, the results came out with 60 percent of the buyers wanting to see a comprehensive searching bar on their platform, while 58 percent of them selected to give ratings and reviews of their product line and services; followed by enhanced personalized products or services preferred on the seller’s website, which cited 50 percent.
In addition, around every 7 buyers from 10 are willing that the website should have numerous payment options which are quick and easy to make the online-payments for instance, debit and credit cards, PayPal and the likes; as an alternative to conventional invoices or purchase orders.
During the 18 months ahead, as per current scenario, 48 percent of the sellers are looking to enhance their searching functions of the website, while 42 percent are intending to improve personalized products or service counseling, to their business buyers. Moreover, 86 percent of the B2B sellers are planning to give debit and/or credit card payment option to their customers and 79 percent are aiming to use various online payment services such as PayPal, Payoneer, Moneybookers, etc.
The B2B sellers have moved one step ahead by emphasizing on the technologies rather than sticking on the E-commerce platforms and Omni Channels to collect the prospective benefits for their businesses. When, the B2B seller respondents have been asked in which area, they are intending to make potential investments in, almost 62 percent of the sellers went in the favor of automated pricing options, though 49 percent cited to exploit wearable computing for making the supply chain process faster and more productive.
According to Brian Walker, Chief Strategy Officer at Hybris said that there should be strong synchronization between all the departments of a B2B seller’s business regarding the norms and corporate culture as a whole.
