Booth Spots Still Available For "Memories To Go"
Village-wide Garage Sale, coordinated by the Evergreen Park Senior Council, is always a popular event.
The Evergreen Park Senior Council is busy at work on this year’s edition of their annual “Memories To Go” Village wide Garage Sale.
The festive event takes place on Saturday, September 6, from 9:00am-2:00pm at the Daniel Capuano Ice Rink at Yukich Fields, 89th and Kedzie in Evergreen Park.
Registration for booth space has been ongoing since late Spring, with a final registration deadline of Friday, August 29. There are a few outdoor spaces still available ($35 vendor fee), and quite a few indoor spaces ($50 vendor fee). Vendors are asked to bring their own tables and/or display arrangements.

Our experience is that “anything goes” at these “Memories to Go” events, be it bicycles, children’s toys, artwork, unique clothing, yard tools, knick-knacks, etc. Many vendors accept Zelle or Venmo.
The sale benefits the Evergreen Park Senior Council, a 501c3 organization, who then supports programs for seniors through our EP Office of Citizens’ Services, such as their mini-bus transportation service.

The Senior Council is hoping to pack the house with vendors, as they have for many years.
Applications are available online for download. Paper applications can be picked up, filled out and turned in at the OCS office in the Community Center, 3450 W. 97th Street.
And of course, the public can come through “Memories to Go” at no cost.
Who knows? You may just find the treasure that’s been on your bucket list.
