Driver In SUV May Have Been Following D124 Student: Alert
The driver followed the girl into a gas station, filled a cup with ice and squealed his tires as he drove off, said a D124 email to parents
EVERGREEN PARK, IL — Evergreen Park police are investigating a suspicious SUV that may have been following a Dist. 124 student after school on Wednesday afternoon.
District officials said in an email blast to parents and staff said that a girl who attended a Dist. 124 school saw a man sitting in a black SUV parked by her house near 94th Street and Albany Avenue around 4:15 p.m. The girl got scared and walked to a nearby gas station.
As she entered the gas station, the black SUV followed her. The male driver got out of the SUV and entered the mini-mart. He filled a cup with ice and left.

The SUV was last seen squealing its tires eastbound on 95th Street. The driver was described as a male black in his 30s, wearing a black hoodie and black pants. The vehicle was a black SUV, possibly a GMC.
Anyone who may have spotted the vehicle or has more information, is asked to call 911 or the Evergreen Park Police Department at 708-422-2144.
