EP Activity Program Participant Tests Negative For Coronavirus
A participant in class at the Evergreen Park Activity Center has tested negative for coronavirus, mayor said.

EVERGREEN PARK, IL — A person who participated in a program earlier this month at the Evergreen Park Activity Center has tested negative for coronavirus, Mayor Jim Sexton said in an email blast to residents. The recreation department participant was tested after exhibiting symptoms similar to COVID-19.
“Those tests (two of them) have come back negative,” Sexton said. “This person is fine, and for that, we cannot be more grateful.”
Village are working on a split and reduced schedule, continuing daily operations to keep the Evergreen Park running while maintaining social distancing. Such services as building permits, real estate transfer stamps and vehicle stickers will be conducted by phone or online. Residents and businesses can visit Village of Evergreen Park with information on accessing services. Evergreen Park Village Hall remains closed until further notice.
